Studied Abroad in Oxford, England
Majors: Music Composition and Computer Information Systems

"I was a little unsure of my choice to study abroad, but once I did, I had absolutely no regrets. Hands down one of the best choices I've ever made. I made lifelong friendships, and grew both as a student and as a human being. I could fill a whole book with all of  our adventures and memories, but even if I did, the value of studying abroad goes beyond any words I could ever write."

You can contact Jonathan at Jcejoco@CalLutheran.edu.

Lucas Weaver

Studied Abroad in Aberdeen, Scottland
Major: Multimedia with emphasis on Digital Gaming

"Studying abroad in Aberdeen was a wonderful experience for personal growth and learning more about their culture. Being in an environment that is completely foreign to everything I grew up with gave me many opportunities to mature and feel more confident about pursuing my dream careers. This experience was completely out of my comfort zone going into it but now that I’ve done it, I can say this was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for myself."

You can contact Lucas at lucasweaver@callutheran.edu.

No matter how scared, nervous, or shy you may be, once you take part in an experience such as studying abroad in a brand new country you will come back a changed person. The growth that I experienced was not only academically and professionally, but personally as well. I made the absolute best friends while in the program and am so thankful for everything I got to experience."

Daisy Calderon Arredondo

Studied Abroad with AES, University of Westminster, London
Majors: Communications with emphasis on Journalism

"Studying abroad in London was by far one the best things I could have ever done for myself! London itself is a cultural hub and there are so many great people and places to see within the United Kingdom. However, aside from that, it’s also a large travel area which makes visiting other European countries affordable and relatively simple. I genuinely had the most incredible experience during my internship and abroad program and met some lifelong friends. If you’re even thinking about it, take the leap and study abroad! It’s the best thing you can do for yourself in your 20s."

You can contact Daisy at calderonarredondo@callutheran.edu.
